Random Thoughts 7/10

  1. This essay on the WSJ was a good read, “It’s never too late to start a brilliant career.” As I transition into a Product Manager role, I feel scared and excited at the same time. It’s not a career I even knew about in college. As a 24 year old, I feel unaccomplished sometimes because I see those around my age doing better. Everyone blooms at their own time and that’s what makes life interesting. This is my favorite quote from the article, “A healthy society needs all of its people to recognize that they can bloom and re-bloom, grow and succeed throughout their lives.”

  2. I’m revamping abandoned cart emails as my first project as a PM. I found this informative article about abandoned cart emails. It has a nice summary and tips on what make the emails successful. I’m using some of these techniques in my revamp and I’m looking forward to seeing positive results from it.
